British grandma brought back from the dead 114 times! Main Article page | Family topics | Health page| Fitness articles| Diseases London, April 03 (ANI): Medics saved a British grandma 114 times after she repeatedly "died" from sudden adult death syndrome. Ann Wintram collapsed while watching TV. "I had been feeling funny and slightly giddy all day. I was watching TV and my husband David noticed I had turned unconscious," Ann said. David called 999 and paramedics repeatedly restarted Ann's heart. Later she was taken to hospital, but the next day, her heart stopped another 10 times. "I was scared and I felt like giving up as my body couldn't cope. But I've got six grandchildren and a family so I thought, 'Blow it, I'm going to fight," The Mirror quoted her as saying. Again medics had to hit her with electric shocks from a defibrillator. Ann now has a mini-defibrillator fitted, which detects erratic rhythm and restarts the heart. She has not had another incident since. "This is a rare genetic condition, occurring in one in a few thousand people," said Prof Peter Weissberg of the British Heart Foundation. (ANI
