Success is a journey
What does success mean to you? Success for me is a journey and not the final destination. I like to keep the learning curve alive...it is important to constantly grow in life. While it is essential that people recognise and acknowledge your work, it is equally important to have self belief. Success begets success, so the endeavour should be to challenge your own benchmarks. We shouldn't be too obsessed with the public recognition of our work. The attempt should be to strike a good balance between the two. What is your biggest strength? Well, there are three. One, my self belief. Two, I am a people's person. I like to build on the strength of the people I work with rather than correcting their weaknesses. It is about adapting them to your vision and goal. And my third strength is my determination. What works as a stress buster for you? I strongly believe that the biggest killer to performance is stress. In fact, in a situation of stress I am cool as a cucumber; it's a trait people envy me for. Stress is also unhealthy for the workplace. And because it is inevitable, we need to find a way to work around it. I keep on telling my ecosystem that you have to de-stress. That works for me. God to you is... ? God is everything. He is the one who helped me search my soul. I am also very spiritual. Following a certain set of daily rituals keeps me energised. However, being a believer without any humanitarian beliefs defeats the purpose. It's a disservice to God. Being a humanitarian makes you humble and a balanced person The financial express / yahoo news
