Rahul Krishnakumar , S/O of
T.N.Krishnakumar( CETA - 1988 Electrical) Won the Prestigious Sheikh Hamdan
Bin Rashed Al Maktoum Award for Academic Excellence for 2010-2011.
Rahul Krishnakumar has been a student of D.P.S
Dubai since 2003. He is an immensely talented and intelligent student. He is an
all rounder and performs exceptionally well in academics and co curricular
activities for the last many years in DPS Dubai. He has been a Proficiency
Holder in Science, Math and English.
Rahul works with commitment and dedication in
all that he does, as a result of which his academic performance has been
consistently high. He has been
awarded the Blue Blazer - a system followed by the school in acknowledging his
consistent academic achievement.
Rahul is the Assistant Editor of the Student
Editorial Board and is also a member of the Class Student Council.
Besides achieving exemplary scores in
academics, he shows great interest in sports, culture and other extra curricular
activities.
Rahul is
very good at multi tasking and performs brilliantly in sports and aesthetics.
He has
represented the school for basketball is a member of the Senior Basketball
School Team.He has participated and won prizes in swimming , dancing, keyboard,
quizzing and declamation among several others. He have also participated in
National Basketball Championship Games conducted by Ministry of Sports for
Youth in Chattisgarh recently.
Rahul is an active quizzer and won the
prestigious Quiz Competition conducted by Zee TV. He has also participated and
won many accolades in Interschool Quiz Competitions and has won other quiz
competitions outside including the KERA Maseter Brain Tech in 2008 and 2010.
Rahul also loves music and has been a Lead
Singer in the School Choir. He also takes part in dance shows and was a member
of winning team of Rock Challenge 2010.
Rahul is forward
thinking and open minded, with an awareness of environmental issues, a
commitment to community service, tolerance and inclusiveness. He
is actively involved with charitable organizations in the UAE and India and
contributes for the welfare of the orphans. He works to create an awareness of
health in the society and has been campaigning for making lifestyle
changes so as promote good health for all. He
is a positive role model and bears an excellent character and sets an example to
his fellow schoolmates.
