Seo Mumbai : Trisha krishan, a famous actress in tamil and telugu
movies , was born on 4th may in the year 1983. She is
also known as Trisha Krishnamurthy. She started getting
the attention of public with her Miss Chennai Title in
1999. She was born to Krishnan and Uma Krishnan in
kerala, Palakkad, India.
Actress Trisha had her early
education from Church Park School and later had her
higher education from Ethiraj College, Chennai. trisha
participated in many cultural activities and sports
during her schooling. Later she started her modelling
career and won the title Miss Salem in 1999, Miss
Chennai in the same year and Miss beautiful smile in
2000. Trisha krishan is also a good ballet dancer, this
kollywood queen did her schooling in the same school in
which former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha did
long back.
Tamil Trisha started her film career with a small
cameo role in Jodi. Her first film with a leading role
was in Leysa Leysa directed by Priyadarshan. After that
film she acted in a couple of movies in glamour roles. She won the acclaim of critics with her role in
the film Mounam Periyadhe opposite surya. Trisha first
mega success was Saamy, in which she played the female
leading role opposite Vikram. Her next hit was a remake
of Telugu blockbuster Okkadu, titled Ghilli opposite
Vijay. In 2004, Trisha acted in a telugu film "Varsham",
opposite Prabhas, which was the biggest hit of the year
in Telugu film industy. This success made her an
overnight star in tollywood film industry. Trisha
krishan became the dreamgirl of many young hearts and
earned a large number of fans to her name. Later she
acted in the film "Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana" as a
middle class girl in a village. The film, directed by
Prabhu Deva and cast Siddhartha as the leading male
role, was another huge success in her career in telugu
film industry.
In 2005, She acted in a Telugu movie opposite Mahesh
Babu titled "Athadu" and bagged another huge hit in her
career. Later Trisha acted in a couple of films but none
of them could record a success at the box office. She
again acted in the direction of Prabhu Deva in the movie
Pournami but it was also unsuccessful at the box office.
However in Tamil she got moderate successes with the
films Something Something, Unnakum Ennakum, in which she
acted with Jayam Ravi. The latter is a remake of the
Telugu movie Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. She played the
same role in Tamil as she did in the Telugu version.
Recently she acted in a Telugu film titled Stalin
opposite to mega star Chiranjeevi which was a success at
the box office. Her next Telugu film Sainikudu with
Mahesh Babu released in November 2006 with high
expectations. But it dissappointed her as well as Mahesh
Babu.
Trisha krishan has already won a number of awards for
her performances in various movies
including four Film Fare Awards. As she is only 24 years
old and has already made a good name in
the film industry with her performance, she is supposed
to have a long successful career in film
industry.
