The film talks about the problems faced by an ordinary Malayali employee in his
company and also in the gulf region. P. Madhavan Nair (Mohanlal) works for a
company in Abu Dhabi which is owned by an Arab (Shakti Kapoor). The real problem
starts when Ottakathalayan (Mukesh) meets Madhavan Nair. Madhavan Nair also has
a lover, and her name is Meenakshi (Lakshmi Rai).
The songs of this film were composed by playback singer and composer M. G.
Sreekumar. The lyrics were penned by Bichu Thirumala, Santhosh Varma, and Rajeev
Alunkal.
Review:
Priyadarshan has attempted films that defy logic
but nonetheless cater to the audience who prefer wholesome entertainers.
AOPMN, his new outing, charters a similar path. At least that's the impression
you get when you look at its promos. After a breezy first half, you realize that
there's more to AOPMN. It's not just a comic fare. It transforms into a
thriller.
Lock your brains and throw the key in the sea as the curtains go up as AOPMN.
Remember, don't look for logic, don't ask questions.
Story: Madhavan Nair has it all,a gud job,great status,a chikky babe fiancée.Its
a self satisfaction period in his life and suddenly enters the Camel Abdu(Mukesh)
who turns his life upside down.Adding to more choes enters Bhavana and then
starts a roller coaster ride full of non logical witty situations with high
prolific comedians at their best.Expect something more in the second half
wherein the genre transforms into a thrill and then starts the chill. Nothing
more,grab your tickets,Buy your popcorns and coke and get ready to board ORU
MARUBHOOMI KADHA.
Mohanlal is just fabulous, as is Mukesh, in their scenes of comic planning and
far-fetched manipulation. They repeat the same which they had done in their
prime and what more can we ask them now.
