Vishwaroopam is an upcoming
Tamil spy thriller film written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan that
features
himself in the lead role. The
film, also has Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat
in supporting roles. The soundtrack is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with
lyrics by Vairamuthu. The film is being made simultaneously in Hindi as
Vishwaroop
Story of Viswaroopam: Kamal has
been highly secretive about his much-awaited film Vishwaroopam. He boasts that
he has had this story in his mind for more than seven years, and now he is
highly elated that it has shaped up very well. He also revealed the plot of the
story recently.
The film revolves around a happy couple Vishwanath and Nirupama, based in New
Jersey, America. Nirupama all of a sudden loses interest in her marriage and
wants to break it up with Vishwanath. But, the trouble here is that, she is
unable to find a single flaw in him. So, she hires a detective to find one and
the outcome is unbelievable. What follows is the story.
If we are right, the title ‘Vishwaroopam’ is derived from ‘Vishwa’ from
Vishwanathan and ‘Roopam’ from Nirupama. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Pooja
Kumar, Andrea, Rahul Bose, Jaideep Ahlawat and Nassar. Shankae- Eshaan- Loy has
composed the music and Sanu Verghese has cranked the camera. Kamal Haasan
himself has wielded the megaphone and produced the project along with PVP
